DESCRIPTION:“Above all else\, guard your heart\, for it is the wellspring of life.\nProverbs 4:23 \nHealing The Heart is designed to give a person an understanding of why they cope with pain\, disappointments\, insecurities and ambitions in the ways that they do. It deals with the wounds and hurts that we have all received in life and how they have affected our personalities. Biblically based\, its practical benefits are immeasurable to those who choose to open themselves to the Holy Spirit. This workshop has been liberating\, healing and helpful to many people. \nHealing The Heart starts with an intensive teaching of biblical principles and truths aimed at helping us understand why we are like we are and to expose the deceptions that have influenced our behavior. It is presented as a series of lectures\, videos and personal testimonies designed to show how we have dealt with the wounds and hurts we have received in life and how this has affected our personalities. It is designed to help you understand yourself\, your disappointments\, your insecurities\, your ambitions\, and how you can find freedom and more effectively serve God. \nHealing The Heart concludes with an application time in which you will be given an opportunity to apply these principles to your own life through self-disclosure. \nIt is recommended that married couples take Healing the Heart together\, if possible\, but it’s not a requirement. \n“Healing The Heart is not a week or a weekend\, but a lifestyle.” \nSchedule and Location: \nThe workshop teaching is held at Mountain Coast Vineyard and starts on Sunday from 2:15-7:30 PM and continues 6:30 to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday. \nThe ministry application weekend starts Friday at 6:00-10:00 PM and then continues Saturday 9:00 AM-9:30 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. \nThe application weekend will be held at a local retreat center.  This is not an overnight retreat. DESCRIPTION:The Call to Go Deeper \nThe Bible is full of stories about the God who consistently\, relentlessly\, pursues relationship with His people.  The issue is never: “Is God really speaking?”  The question is always: “Are we willing to listen?” \nHearing the Voice of God is a workshop designed to push you past your present level of intimacy with the Father and out into the ocean of His love\, acceptance\, understanding\, wisdom\, delight and provision which are available to every person who professes Jesus as Lord. \nIt doesn’t matter if you are just interested in learning about Jesus\, or have been walking with Him 10 days\, 10 years or 10 decades\, the Heartbeat of Heaven has always beckoned us to draw closer and grow deeper in our relationship with God. \nDuring HTVOG you will learn and get the opportunity to experience many different ways that God speaks to His people.  Each topic will lay out a solid Biblical basis for the many ways that God speaks to His people. \nSchedule and Location:\nThe teaching sessions are held throughout the week at Mountain Coast Vineyard starting on Sunday afternoon from 2:15 PM to 7:30 PM and then Monday\, Tuesday\, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. SUMMARY:Healing the Heart
DESCRIPTION:November 4th-11th\, 2018 \nWorkshop dates for 2019 will be posted soon. \n  \n“Above all else\, guard your heart\, for it is the wellspring of life.\nProverbs 4:23 \nHealing The Heart is designed to give a person an understanding of why they cope with pain\, disappointments\, insecurities and ambitions in the ways that they do. It deals with the wounds and hurts that we have all received in life and how they have affected our personalities. Biblically based\, its practical benefits are immeasurable to those who choose to open themselves to the Holy Spirit. This workshop has been liberating\, healing and helpful to many people. \nHealing The Heart starts with an intensive teaching of biblical principles and truths aimed at helping us understand why we are like we are and to expose the deceptions that have influenced our behavior. It is presented as a series of lectures\, videos and personal testimonies designed to show how we have dealt with the wounds and hurts we have received in life and how this has affected our personalities. It is designed to help you understand yourself\, your disappointments\, your insecurities\, your ambitions\, and how you can find freedom and more effectively serve God. \nHealing The Heart concludes with an application time in which you will be given an opportunity to apply these principles to your own life through self-disclosure. \nIt is recommended that married couples take Healing the Heart together\, if possible\, but it’s not a requirement. \n“Healing The Heart is not a week or a weekend\, but a lifestyle.” \nThe workshop teaching is held at Mountain Coast Vineyard and starts on Sunday from 2:15-7:30 PM and continues 6:30 to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday. \nThe ministry application weekend starts Friday at 6:00-10:00 PM and then continues Saturday 9:00 AM-9:30 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. \nThe application weekend will be held at a local retreat center.  This is not an overnight retreat. We will serve a dinner Friday night\, lunch and dinner Saturday and a light lunch/snacks the final Sunday. \nA group reunion will be held the Sunday following the workshop at Mountain Coast Vineyard from 2:15-4:15 pm. \nAn optional two evening follow up training is also available. \nNo childcare is available. \nThe cost of the workshop is $150 in 2018. The cost will increase to $175 in 2019.  You can register online or you can pay by check made payable to Discipleship Ministries of Alaska with Healing the Heart on the memo line. A non-refundable $75 ($100 starting 2019) per-person deposit and application is required to secure a spot. DESCRIPTION:October 14th-21st\, 2018 \nWorkshop dates for 2019 will be posted soon. \n  \nThe Call to Go Deeper \nThe Bible is full of stories about the God who consistently\, relentlessly\, pursues relationship with His people.  The issue is never: “Is God really speaking?”  The question is always: “Are we willing to listen?” \nHearing the Voice of God is a workshop designed to push you past your present level of intimacy with the Father and out into the ocean of His love\, acceptance\, understanding\, wisdom\, delight and provision which are available to every person who professes Jesus as Lord. \nIt doesn’t matter if you are just interested in learning about Jesus\, or have been walking with Him 10 days\, 10 years or 10 decades\, the Heartbeat of Heaven has always beckoned us to draw closer and grow deeper in our relationship with God. \nDuring HTVOG you will learn and get the opportunity to experience many different ways that God speaks to His people.  Each topic will lay out a solid Biblical basis for the many ways that God speaks to His people. \nSchedule and Location:\nThe teaching sessions are held throughout the week at Mountain Coast Vineyard starting on Sunday afternoon from 2:15 PM to 7:30 PM and then Monday\, Tuesday\, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The Weekend retreat meets at a local retreat center on Saturday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. \nCost & Registration Information:\nThe cost of the workshop is $125 (the price will increase to $150 in 2019).
