SUMMARY:Healing The Heart
DESCRIPTION:“Above all else\, guard your heart\, for it is the wellspring of life. \nProverbs 4:23 \nHealing The Heart is designed to give a person an understanding of why they cope with pain\, disappointments\, insecurities and ambitions in the ways that they do. It deals with the wounds and hurts that we have all received in life and how they have affected our personalities. Biblically based\, its practical benefits are immeasurable to those who choose to open themselves to the Holy Spirit. This workshop has been liberating\, healing and helpful to many people. \nHealing The Heart starts with an intensive teaching of biblical principles and truths aimed at helping us understand why we are like we are and to expose the deceptions that have influenced our behavior. It is presented as a series of lectures\, videos and personal testimonies designed to show how we have dealt with the wounds and hurts we have received in life and how this has affected our personalities. It is designed to help you understand yourself\, your disappointments\, your insecurities\, your ambitions\, and how you can find freedom and more effectively serve God. \nHealing The Heart concludes with an application time in which you will be given an opportunity to apply these principles to your own life through self-disclosure. \nIt is recommended that married couples take Healing the Heart together\, if possible\, but it’s not a requirement. \n“Healing The Heart is not a week or a weekend\, but a lifestyle.” \nSchedule and Location: \nThe workshop starts on Sunday from 2:15-8:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Center (10980 Hillside Dr. Anchorage\, AK 99507) and from 6:30 to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday. \nThe ministry application weekend starts Friday at 6:00-10:00 PM and then continues Saturday 9:00 AM-9:30 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. This is not an overnight retreat. We will serve a dinner Friday night\, lunch and dinner Saturday and a light lunch/snacks the final Sunday \nA group reunion will be held the Sunday following the workshop at Mountain Coast Vineyard from 1:00-3:00 pm. \nAn optional two evening follow up training is also available. \nCost and Registration Information: \nThe cost of the workshop is $175.  You can register online or you can pay by check made payable to Mountain Coast Vineyard with Healing the Heart on the memo line. A non-refundable $100.00 deposit and application is required to secure a spot. The balance is due by the first day of the workshop. \nSpace is limited\, so if you are interested we would suggest signing up as soon as possible. DESCRIPTION:This is a practical way to serve hundreds of people in our community. If you need food\, please show up at our church building (2511 Sentry Drive\,  “lower parking lot”) between 9:00 and 10:30am. We will have pre-made boxes of food prepared for you. All you need to do is show up and connect with our fabulous team. \nIf you would like to receive food\, registration is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. You MUST be registered by 10:30  a.m. to receive food. \nIf you would like to volunteer\, please come and check in at 8:00 am for set-up and distribution. \nIf you would like to donate\, we can always use… \n\nBeans\, Peas\, Tuna\, Mac & Cheese\, All Fruit\, Cocoa\, Oatmeal\, Canned meats and Pasta.\n\n\n*You can bring the non-perishable foods in on the 3rd Saturday of every month at our food shelf\, or you can bring them in on Sunday mornings to our church building.\n\nBlessings!

DESCRIPTION:The first class in the series teaches what it means to be planted in Christ\, what it means to be a part of His church\, and what it looks like to be a part of Mountain Coast Vineyard. We begin by looking at the foundations of the Christian faith; salvation\, baptism and communion. We will share our vision\, our core values and statement of faith. We will look at what makes the Vineyard distinctive from other churches\, and how to be a vital member of Mountain Coast Vineyard. \nPlanted class is on Sunday\, April 27th from 1-5 pm in room 210 at the church (park in the upper parking lot\, come in the front doors and go to the right\, classroom is at the end of the hall).
